The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will be responsible will providing vital support to the HR department by handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. You will ensure the smooth operation of the HR department by assisting with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and more.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in HR administration or a related field.

• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Onboard new hires by collecting paperwork, processing benefits enrollment, and coordinating new hire training.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, including personnel records, benefits information, and emergency contact details.

• Update HR databases with new hire, termination, leave of absence, and other employee data.

• Assist with payroll preparation by providing accurate timekeeping and leave information.

• Draft and prepare HR documents, such as offer letters, employment contracts, and termination notices.

• Answer employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.

• Manage the HR department calendar, schedule meetings, and prepare agendas.

• Perform other administrative duties as assigned, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
